Chelsey’s dance journey started at the age of 5 and she danced competitively for 12 years. She balanced gymnastics and acrobatics in her younger years before exploring other styles. Chelsey was widely involved with community events while in her adolescent dance career. One of her fondest memories being, the opportunity to perform in Hannah and the Inukshuks at the opening ceremonies of the Vancouver Olympics in 2010. In 2007 at age 11, Chelsey also got a role in a Mattel Barbie commercial alongside pop singer Victoria Duffield.
Chelsey has always had a passion for dance and a love for children. When she is not dancing, teaching or as a warehouse worker at her side job, she enjoys practicing the art of flying trapeze. After graduating in 2014, she went onto teach at Xtreme Talent and has since been a strong supporter of Maureen and her endeavours. Chelsey is always willing to lend a helping hand and continues to be a welcoming face at the studio.
