Jessica began her dance training in Chilliwack at the age of 2 and quickly discovered her passion for dance. Since starting dance she has trained competitively at Capella Dance Academy under many amazing teachers who have influenced her as a dancer. Learning from these teachers has taught her to work professionally and make her dance routines clean. She has also learned strength and agility through her own work with solos and group work.
Since 2014 Jessica has taught and mentored many students of various ages. From ages 3 to 16, she worked with many competitive dancers, during the latter years critiquing their dance technique, guiding them through their routines, and helping however she could. Through this position she incorporated many positive attributes into her work, which shaped her into a better, more understanding teacher.
Jessica has certificates for IDTA (International Dance Teaching Standards) Module One, Acrobatic Arts Module One, and Alixa Flexibility Modules One, Two, and Three. She specializes in Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop and Acro; she won two choreography awards for her first piece of choreography.
